Gutsy Walk 2018 - Gutsy Walk 2018
Northern Gutsy Club Team Page

We are the Gutsy Club at Northern Secondary School. Our vision is to increase inflammatory bowel disease awareness amongst youth in our community, and to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to contribute to Crohn's and Colitis Canada's goal of finding a cure.

1 in 150 Canadians is diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, translating to 12 Northern students. This rate is rapidly rising, especially in young people like ourselves.

Every hour of every day, one Canadian is newly diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.

As it takes guts to find a cure, our team will be getting gutsy by participating in Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s Gutsy Walk on Sunday, June 3.

Today, we are asking you to get gutsy with us by making a donation to our team. How will your generous gift make an impact? Your donation will be invested in world-class research, empowering patient programs, advocacy efforts and elevating awareness.

Together, we can move towards a future free of Crohn’s and colitis.

Thank you for showing you have the guts it takes to find cures.
