Dear friends and family
Every hour of every day, one Canadian is newly diagnosed with Crohns disease or ulcerative colitis.
So, as you may or may not know, my son Alex has Crohns disease. He was diagnosed with this disease when he was 12 years old. This past November he underwent major surgery removing his entire large intestine as a last resort to try and curb the effect of this disease. It was slowly destroying him.
Long expected, the surgery was still a shock. The healing process from this is slow, but he does seem to be progressing well.
This year I am participating in the "Gutsy Walk" to both raise awareness and money for Crohns disease research and support. Sally and I will be participating in the walk 02 June in Ottawa-Gatineau, although Alex's team is registered out of Vancouver.
If you can make a donation and support us in this cause that would be great! My personal fundraising goal is $500.00 while the team goal is $2000.00.

If you want to participate in the walk, and join our team, "The Sh*t Disturbers", let me know and I can send you a link!
Thank you for your support.
Together, we can move towards a future free of Crohns and colitis.
